my beloved ah mah

it was a unexpected week. suddenly, i was taking the midnight flight back home. and next it was 800km from singapore back to taiping for the funeral. at 95 years old, with 101 descendants.. we mourned over her death but more so, we celebrated her life.

breakfasti had breakfast at Carousel by the lakeside at Albert Park. it was a bright and sunny morning with a nice, cool breeze. and we watched the black swans waddle away. the eggs benedict was delicious, the hollandaise and smoked salmon to die for. the big breakfast was cooked perfectly, yum.. just right. the coffee was good, and even the water was fresh with a hint of mint and lemon. just lovely. another great find by my breakfast buddy, erin and i!

how things turn out to beyou never know how things will turn out to be. but eventually, the cat will be let out of the bag.. and the war begins. how sad.
i've had a few dramatic weeks and it is devastating. i am tired, sick and tired. where were those days when it was carefree and good? and we laughed about all the silly things and even more at each other?

mind blockthis blog is dying a horrible death. sigh, again comes the time when i don't know what to type up anymore. what i ate, where i went, who i met... it's pretty much the same each time. on an interesting but sad note, i dropped my phone into the toilet bowl,
lalala i'm so smart i should die. so my phone has chosen to kill itself in my pee.
and i'm totally hooked onto this australian show
MASTERCHEF!!! even though i only caught on after the whole season has ended (after the whole of aussie was in a massive craze - ratings were higher than the world cup!) it's so good, and the things they do are really impressive. for those interested in cooking, it's a must watch! now i wanna be a masterchef too...
i've been through my closet and found clothes i've bought and not worn, new shoes still in their boxes and (possibly forgotten). Bags unused. Perfume stashed in the back of the closet. hello, guilt of spending on unnecessary things. sigh, the unnecessary but really
really pretty and
i-had-to-buy-them things.
